Numerical investigation of the effect of hole reaming on fatigue life by cold expansion

چکیده
The reaming process of the 6061 aluminum alloy plate after cold expansion with split sleeve was simulated by finite element (FE) method based on Abaqus/CAE, relationship between depths and distribution residual stress fields is obtained analysis. fatigue lives under different were calculated using analysis software FE-SAFE, verified tests. results show that will increase compressive at hole edge entrance surface. In addition, life specimens increases depth, best gain specimen when depth 0.5 mm.
